Below are descriptions of the wood types:
- Cherry - Traditional, warm looking wood that will become richer and darker over time, especially as the wood ages and is exposed to sunlight.
- Hickory - Perfect for natural finishes, hickory has beautiful and sometime extreme lights and darks and is appreciated most for these unique and irregular combinations.
- Laminate - Clean and crisp, smooth or glossy, laminate can provide multiple colors and looks for any taste or style.
- Maple - A beautiful looking and very durable wood, maple accepts finish colors very easily but is often most appreciated when the natural beauty of the wood is emphasized.
- Oak - A strong and dense wood that accepts finish easily, oak is the most widely used and often most affordable wood for cabinets commonly finished in natural and warm neutral finishes.
