Meet Amy Hart

Amy Hart has been working in the field of Interior Design since 1991. She received her B.S. in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University, and actively continues training in specialized areas of design each quarter.

Amy's specialties are: Kitchen & Bath Design, Design for Aging / Aging in Place, and Universal Design. She also has a passion for "Green" design and uses these products and concepts whenever possible in her projects.

When we first contacted Amy, we thought we were presenting her with a challenge that really couldn't be met. We were buying a new home and wanted to have construction begin within 48 hours of closing on the home, and we needed it finished within two weeks. The home we were buying had a kitchen whose identity was stuck in the 1980's and was barely large enough to accommodate one person. To say it was tiny and closed in is an understatement. We managed to sneak Amy in to see the kitchen prior to buying the house while we were conducting our home inspection. We shared ideas about how to bring the kitchen into the present millennium, where to knock down walls and how to brighten up the otherwise dark space. Within no time, Amy provided us with a layout and design ideas. We quickly made our material choices, signed on the dotted line and as requested, construction and installation began within 48 hours of closing on the home. Eric and his crew showed up as scheduled and with smiles on. Construction went without a hitch and we're pleased with the end result. We will be contacting Reico when we're ready to re-do our master bath! Thanks Amy!
