Reico designer Christine Garner-Menefee and one of her recently redesigned kitchens was featured on the new TV show “Kitchen Trends” on the Home & Garden Television (HGTV) cable network. The episode titled “Refrigerators, Wall Ovens, Sinks” featured David and Lindsey Kramer’s kitchen that was designed with Japanese influences.

The new design included a wide-open kitchen with three distinct dining areas – including a seating area for formal dinners and another for casual get-togethers. A simple hood above the range reinforced the minimalist look and the Shoji screens created privacy without eliminating the natural light.

“Kitchen Trends” is the first television show dedicated to the latest and greatest in kitchen design. Every episode of the show introduces a number of hot trends in kitchens today, from top of the line appliances to the latest in countertops or cabinetry and airs in more than 100 million homes.
