Incorporated in 1952, Robinson Export-Import Corporation (Reico) was organized to distribute plywood and hardboard made in Finland to the Baltimore-Washington area. These products were sold primarily to manufacturers of kitchen cabinets, furniture and store fixtures. The core business changed in 1976 when Reico became a wholesale distributor of Merillat cabinets. Through innovative services such as in-depth inventories, next day delivery and world class customer service, Reico experienced tremendous growth and quickly became the supplier of choice to industry professionals. Over time, other quality kitchen and bath products were added to compliment the cabinet offering. Beginning in 1996, retail store locations were added to enable the consumer to have access to the same exceptional products and distinctive services the professionals had trusted for 20 years. Today, Reico employs hundreds of people in various locations throughout the mid Atlantic region, has many retail locations and represents such nationally recognized domestic items such as Merillat, Masterpiece, WoodHarbor, Ultracraft and Custom Wood products cabinets, Harborview bath furniture, Wilsonart decorative surfacing, Moen and Kindred sinks, Virginia Marble cultured marble tops, Bally Butcher Block, Miele, Dacor, Jenn Air, and Maytag appliances and other related products.
