Melissa Whalen joined Reico Kitchen & Bath in 2026 as a Key Business Manager, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the design industry. Her background includes interior design, custom furnishings, and graphic design. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design as well as a design certification through the Interior Design Society (IDS).

Melissa is passionate about all aspects of design — color, texture, and the balance between form and function in kitchens and bathrooms. She believes great design is not only beautiful, but also creates a feeling within a space, whether that feeling is calm, organized, welcoming, or relaxed.

Her goal with every client is to create an enjoyable and stress-free experience by truly listening to their wants and needs, guiding them confidently through the decision-making process, and helping bring their vision to life. “I want my clients to feel confident in the choices they make and genuinely love their finished space”.

When she’s not designing, she enjoys spending time with her family, sipping coffee on the porch, and watching the birds — though design is never far from her mind!
