With over 20 years in design and project management, Karen Harris joined Reico Kitchen & Bath in 2025 as a Key Business Manager.  Starting with a perspective drawing series in a middle school art class, design has always been a part of Karen’s life.  This led to a degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia. After a number of years in Commercial Interiors, her passion for kitchen and bathroom design led her to a small turnkey remodeling company, where she learned all aspects of remodeling projects, including design, lighting, flooring, plumbing, tile and countertops. 

For Karen, she has passion for the details.  She has an eye for the things other miss, knowing details define the entire design.  It is her goal to create a finished project that exceeds their expectations. Explanations about the industry, timelines, products, do’s and don’ts and more all are part of helping the client make the most informed decisions possible and create that “It is even better than we imagined” moment for them.  

When not designing, Karen loves to be around design.  Whether it is in the form of trying new restaurants and exotic cuisine (every well-designed restaurant has a cool bathroom), to taking classes at the NC Museum of Art or attending the bi-annual modernism home tour, she appreciates every element of it.
