It’s election day. The time to get out and vote on the candidates and issues affecting your community, your state and beyond that in some years. Making choices is what voting and freedom is all about and is something we do every day on things big and small.

Normally we would all quick to be answer with an emphatic “NO!” But that’s not the case when you are talking about just checking in to see how everything is going. Most would be afraid to call, thinking they would only “rock the boat” or “stir up something”.

In 2012, Reico Kitchen & Bath recycled 406,940 pounds of kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, laminate, cardboard, paper, cans, bottles and metal. This was a 101% increase over the 202,840 pounds we recycled in 2011.

We all get caught up in it….the emotional rollercoaster of highs (all new stuff!) and lows (it will cost how much?) when planning a kitchen remodel. But taking time to consider all the options and costs is one of the most important things you can do before finalizing a new kitchen design.

The hottest trend in in cooking today is induction cooking. As technology continues to improve and costs come down, more and more people are discovering this form of cooking.

Floating vanities continue to be one of the more popular bathroom design trends out there, offering a custom look to even the smallest of bathroom spaces. These wall-mounted vanities create the illusion of more space in a tight bathroom with its’ open underside.

We know how stressful a kitchen remodel can be. The people who come into our showrooms are already feeling it before they’ve made any decisions or really have gotten a grip on the costs involved.
