If you are like me, you have had enough of this year’s winter…cold, snow, sleet, cold, snow, freezing rain, snow, cold, sleet, snow, cold, cold, cold. You’re feeling it, right?

Now retired designer Anne Hinte, formerly of Reico Kitchen & Bath’s Springfield, VA kitchen and bathroom showroom, was given the opportunity to work with a large 33’ galley kitchen space.

According to recently released survey results from members of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), here is a quick look at the most significant trends for kitchens and baths in 2013:

In 2012, Reico Kitchen & Bath recycled 406,940 pounds of kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, laminate, cardboard, paper, cans, bottles and metal. This was a 101% increase over the 202,840 pounds we recycled in 2011.

Sometimes a little inspiration is all you need to get started on a kitchen remodeling project.
